Coast is our Fairtrade and Organic coffee that blends Robusta coffee beans with our Arabica coffee beans from Honduras.

While lesser known, Robusta is second to Arabica as the most common coffee variety and both have their own unique flavours and characteristics.

Robusta does has an unfair reputation as it's traditionally be used for lower quality coffee on the continent. However, there is a new wave of Robusta coffee being grown that is fabulous in taste and quality and adds so much to the cup.

This is why Owens team has chosen to blend their lovely robusta with arabica beans from Honduras, to create a rich, darker-roasted blend with notes of Chocolate, Cherry & Clove.

Owens Coast blend makes a delicious coffee however you brew, but it really comes alive as an espresso and works well no matter which milk you prefer.
So Buy as whole beans if you have a grinder or as fine ground for espresso brewing...either way enjoy this blend of two fantastic coffee varieties!
