500ml Made specially for Riverford by Pepe Aguilera, this extra virgin olive oil is cold-pressed from the freshest Hojiblanca olives—a traditional Andalusian variety grown in a small organic grove near the Sierra Nevada mountains. For over 25 years, Pepe's family has cultivated outstanding olives with care. The local mill sits just 3km away, and olives are pressed the same day they're harvested. By picking at peak ripeness (black outside, green and firm within) and cold-pressing immediately, the oil retains its fresh fragrance and vibrant character. Each small batch is tasted by José and the mill master to ensure quality. The result is a rich, fruity oil with a subtle spicy finish—perfect for salad dressings, bread dipping, or drizzling over grilled vegetables.
