 Directions for Use: Using a dry (powdered) clay mask involves mixing it to a creamy consistency, applying it to clean skin, and rinsing it off before it becomes completely dry and itchy.

1. Preparation: Cleanse: Start with a clean face to remove oil and dirt, allowing for better absorption. Using warm water or a warm towel first can help open pores. Mix the Mask: In a clean bowl fill with a teaspoon worth of dry clay and use a small amount of water (or liquids such as tea, honey, rose water, yogurt, or apple cider vinegar). Create Consistency: Add liquid slowly, mixing until it reaches a smooth, creamy mud-like consistency.
2.  Application: Apply Evenly: Use your fingers or a mask brush to apply a thin, even layer to your face and neck, avoiding the sensitive eye and lip areas. Targeted Application: If you have combination skin, apply a thicker layer to the oily T-zone and a thinner layer elsewhere.
3.  Timing: Wait: Let the mask sit for 5 to 15 minutes. Don't Let it Fully Dry: You should never let a clay mask dry to the point of cracking or flaking. Remove it when it is still slightly damp to avoid over-drying and dehydrating your skin. Sensations: Tightening is normal, but if it causes pain or intense burning, remove it immediately.
4. Removal & Post-Care: Softening: Use warm water and a washcloth to gently soften the mask before wiping it off to avoid pulling the skin. Rinse: Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water. Moisturise: Immediately after apply a moisturiser or serum, as clay masks can remove natural oils, leaving skin dry.
5.
